Bus Rental Requirements

• Must have a commercial liability insurance policy on a vehicle in effect(see below)Valid Driver's License (Out of State License requires a credit card). Personal vehicle insurance policies do NOT cover a commercial bus rental.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.

Terms

• We reserve the right to turn down a rental at any time if the manager or agent in charge feels that a customer is intoxicated or under the influence of any type of drug or; is being rude, obnoxious or behaving in a manner that causes a distraction for our business.
  

Buses, Drivers and CDL Licenses

• Any vehicle that seats more than 15 total people requires the driver to possess a Class C(minimum) CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a “P”(passenger) Endorsement in order to rent.
• For all rentals we require proof of hired auto insurance with RentABus, LLC named as Loss Payee and additional insured. Detailed insurance requirements will be provided.
• It is the renter's responsibility to make sure that all rules and applications that are mandated by the D.O.T. and F.M.V.S.S. are in place. We rent the equipment only and are not regulated by the government for compliance as a passenger transporter. This is the responsibility of the renter. However our vehicles are manufactured to meet or exceed FMVSS requirements for buses.
• In the state of Tennessee, if your school is a Category 1 or Category 2, you must transport your children in a bus certified as a School bus. Our buses are not school bus certified. If you are unsure of your school's category, inquire of your administrator to determine this. This is a classification determined by the Department of Education.
• Please note that if any bus dealer in the state of Tennessee offers to rent to you a bus that is not titled and registered(has a "Demonstrator" or "Dealer" licence plate), this is illegal activity and should be reported. You are at risk of your trip being interrupted by law enforcement and may be liable for participation. Contact us for information of appropriate authorities.
